Frequently Asked Questions

Mobile Apps for most kinds of businesses, organizations, clubs, or groups can be made using our Mobile App Builder.

While costs can vary based on features and requirements, we offer a very powerful and affordable mobile app solution that reduces development effort and associated costs. We make it possible for small and medium sized businesses to offer their customers an engaging mobile experience without the high prices of most custom solutions.

The primary difference between a PWA and Native App is the way the apps are distributed. Both use our custom technology to provide the app functionality. Native apps are available on the Google and Apple play stores respectively, while PWAs are availble through a custom URL.

PWAs are always up to date with the latest code which is available dynamically when the app is opened on the user’s device, where Native apps require republishing apps to update the code on the app stores to enable app users to update the apps on their devices. PWAs offer a more streamlined and frictionless user experience.

Short answer is yes, if publishing native apps.

Native Apps require a Google and Apple developer account. In order to publish native apps, each app owner must open a developer account at Apple and Google respectively, in the name of their business.

The Apple Developer account is $99/yr and must be renewed annually to keep apps available in the store. A Google Developer account requires a one-time $25 fee. Both App stores make updates to their requirements from time to time that require compliance and potential app updates to avoid the risk of having a non-compliant app get deplatformed from the app stores.

PWAs do not require developer accounts or app approvals from Apple or Google.
