How to use the Topics Feature
The Topics feature allows the app owner to create topics for the purpose of allowing app users to pick the types of Push Notifications they would like to receive from the business.
This can be useful to help app users avoid receiving unwanted or too many messages that could result in them uninstalling the app or blocking all notifications within the app. Using this feature allows app users to receive only the messages that match topics that they feel are relevant to them.
When using this feature, Push Notifications and In-App Messages are sent only to those who have subscribed to a specific topic.
While this can be useful for some types of apps, it’s not required and not necessary for all apps. If you think you will send out many messages to your audience, this feature provides a great way to segment the messaging when needed.
